LED Holiday Light Swap - Nov. 17 - Dec. 24
The holiday season is upon us, and this often means decorating with holiday lights. Traditional incandescent holiday light strands use 90% more energy than LED (light emitting diode) strands. To help reduce energy consumption, the Sustainability and Environmental Management Section and Flagstaff Sustainability Program is partnering with HomCo ACE to provide energy efficiency holiday lights at a discounted price. When you bring in a strand of traditional holiday lights to “swap,” you will receive a strand of LED holiday lights for $4 plus tax. Traditional incandescent light strands use 90% more energy than LED lights. In addition, LED lights save you money!
